Love yourself to find yourself.

When I look at myself in the mirror, I'm instantly drawn to my imperfections. I see the messy hair, skin, and body. And my thoughts are like, " I wish if I had better skin'' or ''I need to workout more''.


Every one of us has felt this way during our lifetime. Even once. How often do you think you are enough? If your honest answer is '' NEVER'' or RARELY, please know you're not alone. And if you want to change your thoughts, there is a tool that can help you; Self-love.






What is self-love?


Self-love is a topic discussed among many these days. It's hard to explain what self-love is as it is different from person to person. According to Google, self-love is regarded for owns own happiness and well-being. Simply self-love is taking care of your needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. But according to me, self-love is taking care of yourself to feel confident and happy with yourself.




Why is self love important?


Without self-love, we are most likely to fall into people-pleasing and perfectionism. You are more likely to tolerate mistreat from others. You may ignore your happiness, goals, and wants.

But self-love helps you make healthy choices for yourself and feel confident and proud of who we are.


And here are a few steps to improve self-love.


      

 1. Practice self-care.
   

The first and the foremost thing to improve self-love is to take care of yourself. Self-care is taking care of your body, mind, and spirit in the best way to activate your best self. Self-care helps you to know your values. Self-care reminds you and others your goals, your wants and your happiness is important too.

 

     

     

2.Select friends who raise you.



Friends can play an important role in influencing you. Therefore you must choose friends who truly care about you and your thoughts. Choose friends who will always be there for you no matter what. True friends will always be with you throughout your life journey. They will show your mistakes and will help you to correct them. Never choose friends who use or mistreat you.


                           

                 

  3. Get to know yourself


Try to have a life mission and vision. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Choose what's healthy for you. When you make a choice, check if they matter to your future goals. Get to know your passion.


                    


       

 4. Know that you will always be there for yourself



When you feel alone and forgotten, remember that you will always be there to wipe your tears and to make yourself cheerful. Allow yourself to feel at home with you. Take care of your mental and physical health. When you are there for yourself, it will help you to survive hard times on your own.


          

5. Ignore body shame 

 

    

Never accept body shame from anyone. Be proud and feel confident in your own body. If you want to change something about your body, do it for yourself. Not because others say. Remind yourself that you are worthy. And remember to practice positive self-talk.

    

         



Don't change yourself just to make someone happy unless that someone is you.

Sometimes even I feel a kind of body shame....but yes, I agree that we should do the things as the way we like not because of other's opinions....I'm bit doubt whether this thing really happen among us or most of us want to make others happy and do what others want not what we really want. Thats why most of us are unhappy. Would love to read more about this type of topics as it opens our hearts as well as our BRAINS.

Looks interesting .... will it be equality or the fair place that a person need to have in a society irrespective of the gender or any other personal attribute..... is an other question that need to discuss in details. some of the individuals are urging for the equality .. i personally believe that.. it should be for fair place .. because we are different from each other .. that is the reality.. therefore , the capacity and many other characteristics differ from each other.. keeping that difference a side ..it is important to find the way forward .. letting the majority fell happy
